Becca had been captured by SIREN agents while investigating a wreck of the coast. Now stripped of her gear and clothes, they taunted her over the terrible fate that was in store for her. A blindfold was fastened over her eyes, and she felt them bind her hands and feet with rope. Then, she felt them tying the rope to something, and she began to beg for mercy as she realized how she would die.

Moments later she was dragged to the edge of the ship. The iron ball was thrown into the water, the rope attached to it dragging Becca down with it. For five agonizing minutes, she held her breath, desperately trying to free herself, hoping against hope that someone would rescue her or her captors would take pity on her. At last, however, she could hold no longer. A burst of bubbles erupted from her mouth, and she could feel the water rush in to fill her now empty lungs. She began to thrash and convulse, continuing to kick, spasm, and jerk desperately to free herself. Slowly she felt herself begin to fade. Understanding she was in mortal peril, she gave a last silent scream before jerking three times. Then she was silent and still.

Becca would be found by her friends two days later. A funeral was given for her before her body was sent to be preserved.
